Yes. They run on a built in battery and charge with the USB-C cable in the box.

Do new shades fit older lamps?

On the modular lamps, yes. The fitting stays the same, so shades can move between bases. Loose shades are under lampshades.

Is the warranty the same?

Yes, two years on every lamp.

Can they go outside?

That depends on the piece. Every product page lists an IP rating, IP44 and IP54 handle splashing water.

Where do I find what sells best?

The most ordered pieces are in the bestsellers.

How do I switch and dim the light?

With a touch. The light steps from a warm glow to a clearer setting and dims within each step.
