Description

The Mateo stylish alabaster lamp combines a stylish gold base with an elegant alabaster oval top. This beautiful blend of materials creates a lamp that is not only functional, but also radiates atmosphere. Our alabaster lighting collection is distinguished by a combination of luxurious materials and precise craftsmanship. Each piece is handcrafted from solid alabaster stone and carefully finished.

Alabaster is known for its soft, off-white colour, mesmerizing coloured veining and translucency. Light shining through the translucent stone creates a soft, inviting glow that captures your gaze. In addition, alabaster is known for its smooth and fine texture. Alabaster is a natural material, therefore each piece is unique and different in colour, veining and transparency. Each piece exudes elegance and warmth.

You choose the bulb, so you choose the light: warm and low for the evening, brighter when you want to read. It takes a standard E27, from LED to a classic filament bulb, and works with smart bulbs such as Philips Hue. There is no bulb in the box, so the choice stays yours.

Frequently Asked Questions

An E27 bulb, which you choose yourself, so a bulb is not included. The lamp works with LED as well as with a standard bulb.

Two metres, with a plug on the end and an on and off switch on the cord itself.

The lamp has no dimmer of its own. Put in a dimmable bulb or a smart bulb such as Philips Hue, and you dim from the bulb.

Alabaster is a fine-grained natural stone that is translucent, so light passes straight through it. That is why a piece in alabaster glows from within once the lamp is on.

Not exactly. alabaster is natural stone, so the veining and the depth of the colour differ from piece to piece. Yours is one of a kind.

24 cm high and 13 cm across, about 1.75 to 2 kg. The weight is the stone, so it stands where you put it.

Wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. Natural stone does not take kindly to acids, so keep vinegar and citrus based cleaners away from it.
