Frequently Asked Questions
Lift the lamp off the screws and plug in the USB-C cable, then hang it back when it is done. A full charge takes eight to twelve hours. Red means charging, green means full. Most adapters work, a plain 5V/1A one always does: if it hangs just short of green, switch to 5V/1A and it finishes.
At full brightness it gives about 10 hours of light. Turned down low it runs for up to 100 hours.
350 lumen, enough to read by at the table. One touch takes you through three light colours, from a warm 2700K to 6000K.
Press the metal button to move through the three light colours; the press after the last colour switches it off. Hold the button to dim, and every colour dims the same way.
No. This model works by touch. The motion sensor and the remote are on the Tess and the Tessa.
Rubberwood. The tree is only used once it has finished producing latex, so the wood comes out of an existing cycle instead of from trees felled for timber.
15 cm high and 15 cm wide, about 500 to 750 g.
Indoors only, in a dry room. It is rated IP20, so keep it away from steam and splashing water.
Yes, and that is by design. You replace the battery, not the lamp: a few screws and about ten minutes. We keep batteries in stock.
