Description

A set of three brown alabaster tealight holders, in the heights you choose above. Each piece is carved by hand from natural alabaster quarried in Luxor, Egypt, so the veining and the colour run differently through every stone.

The rounded shape catches the light along its whole curve. The brown alabaster is polished and waxed, which deepens the veining and gives the stone a soft sheen. Lit from within, the alabaster turns warm and translucent, and the step between the heights gives a table or a shelf its own quiet rhythm.

What you get

Three holders in brown alabaster, each in its own box, packed together in one larger box. The stone is what you buy: the tealights are not included, and they must be LED. Pick the heights above, and you receive exactly that combination.

No two alike

Every holder is cut and finished by hand, so the measurements shift a little and the veining, tone and pattern differ from piece to piece. Within one set that is the point: the stones agree without matching.

Together or apart

Put them down as a group and the light sits at more than one level, strongest in the smallest piece and deepest in the tallest. Spread across a room they still belong together, because the shape and the tone repeat. Want other heights, another shape, or both stones in one group, then put a set together yourself.

Care & use

Use LED tealights only, never a flame. Heat can crack alabaster, and wax and soot stay in the stone. Wipe with a dry, soft cloth; keep water and cleaning products away from the surface.

Returns
Not the right fit? You can return your lamp within 14 days of delivery. Email us and we work out the best way together. Arrived damaged? Send us a photo and we replace the affected part. Returns travel to our warehouse in the Netherlands and the return shipping is paid by the customer. Return and refund policy.

Hand carved from natural Egyptian alabaster. The stone is translucent, so a tealight does not sit in the holder: it lights the whole piece from within and brings out the crystalline grain.

No two alike. Each piece has its own veining, texture and colour, and the measurements are approximate. You choose a colour and a size, not a pattern.

Care & use

Alabaster is a soft natural stone. Keep it away from water and cleaning agents, and wipe it with a dry cloth. Use LED tealights only, never a flame: heat can crack the stone, and soot and wax stay in it.

Yes. The combinations here are the ones that sit well together, and if you want something else you can put a group together yourself from the single pieces. The price drops as soon as you take more than one.

No two pieces of alabaster are alike, and that is the point. The tone and the veining shift from one piece to the next, which is what keeps a group from looking manufactured.

Each piece comes in its own box, and the boxes travel together in one larger box. It is ready to hand over as a gift, and with LED tealights alongside it can be used the same evening.

A dry, soft cloth. Alabaster is porous, so water and cleaning products leave marks in the surface. Dust settles faster on a group than on a single piece simply because there is more surface.
