Material

Solid wood, turned and finished by hand with the grain left open. The pattern changes from base to base. The fabric shade takes the hard edge off the light.

Light and bulb

You choose the bulb, so you choose the light: warm and low for the evening, brighter when you want to read. It takes a standard E27, from LED to a classic filament bulb, and works with smart bulbs such as Philips Hue. There is no bulb in the box, so the choice stays yours.

An E27 bulb, which you choose yourself, so a bulb is not included. The lamp works with LED as well as with a standard bulb.

The lamp has no dimmer of its own. Put in a dimmable bulb or a smart bulb such as Philips Hue, and you dim from the bulb.

Rubberwood. The tree is only used once it has finished producing latex, so the wood comes out of an existing cycle instead of from trees felled for timber.

The shade is a linen blend, which warms the light and takes the edge off it.

Dust it with a soft, dry cloth. Keep it away from standing water and direct heat.

Send us a photo within fourteen days of delivery. We look at it with you and in most cases send the part that is damaged, so the whole lamp does not have to travel back. Keep the damaged part until it is settled.
